My girlfriend thinks it’s cheating to wank with my mate

I’ve been wanking with my best mate for more than 5 years now. I got into a serious relationship with a great girl a year ago and everything was going fine until she found out that me and my mate wank together.

She found a couple of photos on my laptop from a few years ago of me and my mate watching porn and it started the discussion. I told her we’ve been wanking for years and she lost her shit about it.

I’ve known my best mate for about ten years, wanking for about five. We’ve never wanked each other (although I’ve thought about what that would be like). It’s just two mates having a laugh but she doesn’t seem to get it.

She says it’s cheating.

I plan to carry on wanking with my mate and if she finds out about it then so be it.

So you have any advice?

Thanks for your message Anon. I think your experience is pretty common.

Personally, I don’t think it’s cheating. You’re not planning to run away and start a same sex relationship with your mate, you’ve known each other for ten years, this is just about two guys who are that comfortable with each other rubbing one out isn’t a big deal.

But this isn’t about what you or I think, this is about her perception.

The only thing I can really suggest is that you talk about it a lot more and see if her attitude changes.

If not you have only three options. Either you can respect her views about it and stop your wanking sessions with him, you can end the relationship with her and perhaps find someone more in tune with your thinking, or you can continue to wank with your mate and do what she considers cheating.

No one can tell you which option to take, it’s all down to you.
