A cautious return to events!
What a year it’s been.
After more than twelve months of lock downs, scary numbers, immeasurable losses and battling to right this ship, it seems as though we might, cautiously, be coming out of it.
Not all of us, of course, but several countries are now carefully and methodically getting back to some kind of normality.
While we all keep our fingers crossed and get vaccinated, it’s time to carefully consider a gradual reopening of the events we love and have missed for the last year.
As you might know, we shut down the Events Calendar for a time. Unable to keep track of what was happening where and finding it impossible to keep up with the ever changing landscape of closures and new measures, we decided to take it down entirely. Then it occurred to us that you might like to use that time at home to plan for events in the future, so we reinstated it with a cautionary note.
That still stands, the caution remains, but we are slowly getting back to adding events as venues and clubs open once again.
So far we only have limited information for you, but we can tell you that The London Jack Off Club is open again, and DaBurgh Jacks is holding events.
Please remember that rules might have changed, capacity might be restricted and you might need to plan your visits a little more carefully. As always, we recommend clicking the logo in any calendar date to visit their website for the most relevant information.
Sadly, some club events have shut down entirely and venues have closed for the foreseeable future, but in the coming weeks and months we’re going to be on the lookout for any and all jack off clubs starting up with new dates ready to add to the calendar. If you know of any please contact us and give us as much information as you can.
We’re certain that as we get out of this long nightmare there will be plenty of new opportunities in 2021, as long as we all behave sensibly.
RETURN OF THE BATE PARTY
You might have noticed everything was a little quiet on this front.
After we announced the plan for the Return of the Bate Party (a series of gatherings held at existing clubs, bathhouses and saunas etc) we secured interest from venues in Canada. You can click here to see those events in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
We continued to work our way down through North America, contacting various venues to seek involvement.
The response was lackluster to say the least.
While we’re sure smaller groups and clubs dotted around the US will always be welcoming of new members, it has been incredibly hard to simply make contact with suitable venues for a coordinated event.
We’re not giving up, however. We’re sure this was primarily due to closures of these venues and that perhaps there was just no one around to organize anything. Now that these venues are starting to open up again we’re going to continue to find participants to get involved and host an event, so stay tuned for that.
We’re now looking at the end of summer, hoping that by this time measures will have eased significantly and allow a greater number of attendees to be involved.
Join the newsletter below, specifically for the ROTB events, and we’ll endeavor to keep you informed of our progress.
Finally, while this has been a very tough year for everyone, we hope that this little website and community has offered you something. We might be only one adult community in a sea of content, but we hope the posts here over the last year have entertained, informed or maybe just distracted you in a good way.
Let’s all look to the future and the fun to be had, the bate never stops! 🙂
