A guy with a BuddyBate pin at Henley Royal Regatta

I’m new to this site and group—only came of age a few months ago and ordered my lapel-pin as a birthday gift for myself. I haven’t met anyone yet but I saw a chap walking around Henley Royal Regatta with a badge and really wanted to wank with him. Sadly, I was surrounded by friends at the time and couldn’t think of a way to introduce myself. Hoping that he checks this website.

He looked to be mid twenties and was hanging around with people from an Oxford college.

We’ve sent a few buttons, pins and stickers to guys in Oxford and we think there’s likely a good community there, being a university town with plenty of young men eager to explore and share their bate fun it only seems logical.

It takes courage for your first time, there’s no doubt about that. Some guys are really relaxed about it all and just see it as a great way to meet new friends and have some relaxed fun, others think about it a little too much and worry. I’ve met both, and the nervous bators usually forget about their concerns within moments.

I’m sure you’ll have plenty of other opportunities in the future, and it’s likely he’ll see this post and perhaps leave a comment for you to get in touch with each other, but always remember that anyone who is wearing a pin, a button or displaying a sticker is just like you, they’re looking for the same kinds of experiences and friendships. We’ve heard from other guys who’ve met new bators thanks to our project and their encounters seem to start the same way – they use the pin/button/sticker as an ice-breaker, making it immediately obvious they’re both interested in the same thing, everything just kind of happens from there, at their pace, in their way.

Thanks again for your message, let’s hope the mystery bator sees this post and leaves a comment for you to reach him and make contact. It would be great to see a local bate club start up in Oxford (there probably is one already, we just don’t know about it) and perhaps you could be a founding member!? 🙂
