BuddyBate Lapel Pins have sold out, but more are on the way!
For the last month we’ve been contemplating whether to continue selling the BuddyBate lapel pins. The truth is we ordered them at just the wrong time. Being metal and more durable, the costs are far higher than the other products we invested in, and just when they went on sale we lost our Tumblr account – where most of our visitors were coming from. 🙁
Traffic to the blog immediately dropped, and sales of buttons, stickers and the new lapel pins dropped with it.
This week we sold the last of our first batch of Lapel Pins and we’ve been wondering whether to order another batch from the manufacturers.
Today we ordered another batch 🙂
We listened to feedback about these little pins and we’ve decided to increase their size from 20mm to 25mm. We feel that’s about right but might consider a larger batch of 30mm in the future if readers would like them.
We’re also going to lower the price of them just a little.
While we think you’re getting a great deal with our one-of-a-kind merch (the opportunity to meet all kinds of men interested in the same things as you) we understand that with postage to the US, Canada and Australia, the price of a simple little pin can creep up to become less reasonable.
Hopefully the lower price will lead to increased orders and more guys out there investing in these great little pins.
Please remember that whether it’s a button, a lapel pin, or a sticker, in any size, the design is the same. We intend to keep the design as it is so that you will always know what you’re looking for.

Our next batch of lapel pins will hopefully be arriving in a couple of weeks, but we’ll keep you posted. If you want to know when they’re available before we publicly advertise them, please make sure you’ve joined the newsletter. We let our subscribers know all about any new products, availability or special offers before anyone else.
Please also be aware that the standard buttons are still available, as are the large and small stickers. They’re great for displaying on phones, laptops, in your office, on water bottles and shower gel at the gym, and all kinds of other imaginative places. Loads of our readers have met other guys to share their bate with thanks to these products and we hope to continue this project for years to come.
To all those out there who have BuddyBate buttons, stickers or lapel pins, thank you for making what was intended to be an interesting little side project far more successful than we ever thought it would be. We knew there were thousands of guys out there interested in sharing their bate with other guys, but it’s been fare more widespread than we expected it to be from our little blog in this sea of internet. It’s great to see the BuddyBate map becoming more and more crowded with new towns and cities every week, and awesome to know that there are so many thousands of guys out there all showing off their little stickers and buttons and meeting up with all kinds of guys for no-strings bate fun. It’s amazing to hear from you all and reading your experiences of meeting new guys thanks to our little project.
Let’s keep the bate going!
