Hey

Is it only possible to buy the buddybate buttons online? I am married and have to be super discreet and do not want them to be mailed to me, in case my wife opens the package.

I am from the US, but in London for a few days this week. Is it possible to buy the buttons in any store or sex shop in London?

Thanks for your question.

Unfortunately BuddyBate buttons and stickers are only available via our partners at BlokeToys.

I can assure you, however, that we ship to the US in a small brown padded envelope with only the address label on the front, the return address makes no mention of either us nor BlokeToys, and on the back the (customs) sticker simply mentions buttons and stickers, the cost in GBP, and the weight.

The items themselves are very discreet and make no mention of this website, the sexual nature of the project or anything else. They only have a white and blue logo (site colors) and mention and “International Social Club”.

Nothing else is included in the package.

If you’re still concerned then perhaps you could mention your city here in the comments and maybe another bator in your area would be willing to have them delivered to their address for you to collect? It would also be a great way for you to meet another bator!

On using our BuddyBate logo…

Hi Greg,

Unfortunately we really don’t think this would be a good idea. As you may know, Craigslist is no longer a hospitable place for adults seeking others for adult encounters and it would be risky for us to have our logo associated with that. We would recommend seeking the same via other adult websites where such subjects aren’t banned and where you can be more upfront about your interests, and where you wouldn’t need to use our logo for it.

Sorry we can’t be more help with this, but we do have to protect the integrity of our branding and be very cautious about where our logo appears.

On the price of BuddyBate buttons/stickers and shipping…

Hi I’m in Sydney and want to get some buttons and stickers to show at the gym but the cost is too high for me. Will you be offering a sale or discounts at any time?

Hey. In the past week we have lowered the cost of all BuddyBate items, just a little, in an effort to encourage wider uptake. We’ve also asked BlokeToys to change the shipping options for Australia. I believe previously you could only select the highest shipping cost but after investigation we found we could add a more affordable international service.

On T-Shirts…

I would really like a t-shirt to wear. Will you be selling any soon?

It’s something we’ve looked at a few times but we want to maintain the discretion we have with the BuddyBate buttons and stickers, so using an outlet other than BlokeToys would be tricky. Because of this we would need to have them printed ourselves and ship them. It’s risky from a cost perspective, but we’re considering presenting a unique design (a themed, fictional company or brand) and asking readers if they want to register for one. If we can be certain we have a certain number of interested parties we could then continue with the project and produce and ship it. On using lube with bate buddies…

British wanker here! Just started wanking with a mate of mine and been reading about some other guys using lube for frotting. Never used lube myself so don’t know what’s the best to go with. Any suggestions?

Us British guys don’t seem to have the same appreciation for lube as our American counterparts, but it’s true that it makes frotting and mutual wanks a lot more interesting. Any lube will probably do, but I prefer to use Stroke 29 with my buddies. I’ve got a few guys hooked on using it over the years. It’s a great product.

I want to order Buttons and Stickers but I can’t…

I’m actually based in Dubai, UAE. i want to order buttons and stickers, but the country is not in the list at bloketoys. is there any way i can order? im sure there are baters here (i’ve had experiences here), and im sure there are a lot of readers on the site from here.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had issues. I’ve checked with BlokeToys and it seems that this is a problem because certain other products are restricted in certain places and they needed to find a way to restrict the sale of those other items to locations while allowing the sale of BuddyBate buttons and stickers, which is apparently a difficult task. I’m told that various new locations have now been activated in the shop so you should now be able to order.
