There isn't one at this time, and we are reluctant to add such a feature as it can very easily be abused by a minority. The fact is, there are people who will ignore our rules and legal requirements, so we would have to monitor all direct messages anyway, which doesn't seem right to us.

All members can still publish social media accounts where others can contact them directly, we think this is a fair compromise.

While a lot of guys use messaging apps (Kik, etc.), many do not (including me) for various reasons.  Since you won't allow email addresses to be posted it makes it difficult to get in touch, which is one of the biggest weaknesses of the Personals section of the site--difficult or impossible follow up.

We legally cannot allow the publication of email addresses. This is part of GDPR laws relating to privacy. Publishing email addresses on the open internet will absolutely result in masses of spam within days, rendering that address useless very quickly.

Even if we could legally allow the public publication of email addresses we cannot confirm ownership of that address. For all we know someone could be posting someone else's address in order to harass them.

As for Personal Posts, you can subscribe to any post in the comments by email. When a new reply arrives you will recieve an email notification of that reply.
