Happy New Year fellow bators! What’s next?
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year, and let you know how we plan to make 2019 even better.
We’ve grown so much over the course of 2018, much more than we could have expected, and that’s all because of you guys.
When we launched the BuddyBate button we thought it would be just a cool little way for bators to let other bators in major cities know what they were into, kind of a little club badge that might help you meet another dude at bar or at work. We hoped it might help us keep the lights on here.
In fact, it grew so quickly we had trouble keeping up with demand (and still are trying hard!) We’ve shipped thousands of buttons across the UK and US, with some in Canada and Australia too. We’ve had a little success in Europe, but the language difference has definitely held us back there.
The buttons were so successful we added stickers to the range, then smaller versions of those for guys to show off in appropriate places too.
Although the changes at Tumblr knocked us a little, thinks are apparently rebounding and we’re doing okay. We created an account at Sharesome (https://sharesome.com/BuddyBate/) and we’re keeping an eye on new platforms we could join too.
Our Newsletter continues to grow, and readers continue to share their experiences with us for posts on the site.
What’s coming up in 2019?
If things continue at this pace, we will finally be investing in enamel pin badges for readers to buy. We’ve held off on this for a little while because of the costs involved, but while they won’t be the same price as the original buttons, we’re pretty sure most of you will want a great little metal pin to wear.
We’ll be releasing the first volume of the Big Book Of Bate Tales. We’ve had to push this back due to the lack of traffic we experienced when Tumblr changed their policies, but we’ll be delivering that for our avid readers in 2019.
We plan to work more closely with existing bate clubs around the world to help them spread the word, promoting their events to our readers and hopefully developing a method for them to share BuddyBate buttons and stickers more directly with their members. There are existing groups in every major city, we just need to find them all and start working together to get more members stroking. At the same time, we want to develop ways help new groups get started, so if you’re planning to start a club for your town or city make sure you stick around and get involved!
There’s more we’re thinking about, but we don’t want to bore you with all the details 🙂
Have a great start to 2019, guys. Let’s try to make this year the best ever, packed with friendship, laughs, and gallons of cum.
Brad, Congratulations on 2018! It was truly a pivotal year, and a turning point for BuddyBate.com Thanks for not throwing in the towel during some of those less active days in the past! I’m looking forward to what is coming in 2019! – RJ
Thanks RJ! Happy New Year to you.
Hey,
I’m really interested in the badges. I live in Oxfordshire and there seem to be a few badges around here. I’m nervous about the packaging—i live with people who might not like it if I ordered something with a sexy box. Anyone know if the badges come discreetly? What is the packaging like?
Hi Jack. All BuddyBate products are sent in a small brown envelope. When we’re shipping in the UK there’s nothing on the package apart from the address label (shipping outside the UK requires a return address and a “CN22” sticker, both of which are fairly nondescript). There’s also nothing else inside the package but the products, and they themselves don’t indicate anything to those who don’t have them also. I hope this helps.
I have yet to receive my order and it’s been 2 weeks.
Hi Roque. I understand there have been some delays this month. We had to slow down printing a little because we weren’t sure how the Tumblr fiasco would impact us, and our printers delayed the order we placed also. We are shipping the next batch tomorrow while will mean we’re all caught up. Your’s has probably been shipped already, but it not it will be first thing in the morning. Sorry for the delay.
Any bate clubs in the Phoenix area?
