I think most guys experience this and while there might be a few who genuinely lose interest in sharing their wanks with other guys I think far more just don’t know how to get back into it.
If you guys hadn’t drifted apart and you’d stayed friends for all these years do you think your wanks would have stopped or would you still be sharing porn and having a good time? I would guess that it would probably still be a really good part of your friendship.
Porn is a good way to go. In the past I’ve “accidentally” left porn laying around and after a couple of beers it’s likely to be mentioned and before you know it you’re watching it and getting your dicks out.
It should be said, however that while he might still be relaxed or open-minded enough to have a wank to some good porn not every guy is still gonna be into helping a buddy out. Don’t assume that because he was down to swap dicks back then he’s still interested in that now. That might be one part of this that’s changed over the years.
In summary, I would say he’s probably still as open to it but probably feels the way you do about bringing it up. That’s just my guess. If neither of you mention it it’s likely that there will be natural opportunities the more you hang out together anyway.
Experience tells me you guys have already got that great friendship there and you probably just need some more time to get back into it. Being more open around each other during that time is likely to show both of you how easygoing the other is and it’ll just happen.
