Site update

You might have noticed that you haven’t received a newsletter for a couple of weeks. At the start of the month we saw a dramatic rise in traffic to the blog. While that’s usually a good thing, this also made the site unusable for most due to the server being unable to keep up. As such, our hosting company was kind enough to upgrade us and move everything to a new server.

In the process of moving the site a few things went a little wobbly, which isn’t uncommon when a site is moved to a new environment. Problems come up and it takes a while to iron out all the new little quirks and weirdness.

One of the persisting issues is our inability to send newsletters. We believe this might also be affecting the automatic alerts readers sign up for when they want to be notified of replies to a personal post.

We are working on this. If you’re visiting the blog you can see that things are continuing as normal here, we’re just unable to let you know via newsletter what you might have missed during the week. We hope that this issue will be rectified in the coming days, at which point we’ll issue your long-awaited newsletter packed with various things that have happened over the last few weeks 🙂
