The Memetic Awareness Influence Test was successful and test subject 93 has been returned to the penitentiary after treatment with Compound-KG. Unfortunately for the Griffin Ballon Foundation, a minor error in procedure unleashes an incident they weren’t prepared for.
Excerpt from Steamboat Geyser Part 6
I assembled a Tactical Response Team of three (3) and recruited Dr. Jonas to immediately accompany me to Crickwood Penitentiary.
Upon arrival at approximately 13:00 we were directed to C block where we found all but eight (8) inmates variously engaged in masturbation in their cells. In addition to this we discovered three (3) facility guards naked and engaged in mutual masturbation in an employee restroom adjoining an area where staff had been quarantined.
It became immediately clear that 93 had retained at least partial recollection of OBJECT-6476 and in his heightened state of arousal had informed various other inmates of its existence, encouraging them to participate and leading to contagion. While the effects are lesser through memetic exposure than they would be through visual exposure the lack of treatment had allowed conditions to escalate.
Through cursory discussions with various affected inmates we established that while none of them knew many details of OBJECT-6476 what they had imagined from terms used by 93 had been enough to elicit an arousal response leading to those exposed seeking sexual gratification with each other in the form of masturbation.
The activities my team observed have been described in previous research but include physical manipulation of each other’s penises, frottage between two (2) or more males, full-body contact and the act of ejaculating upon each other.
Upon further investigation we established the communal showers had been a nexus of contagion, with both 93 and his cellmate engaging in masturbation and encouraging others to do so. While this environment is usually strictly controlled by Penitentiary guards and with a maximum of four (4) inmates showering at a time, and only for an allotted period, the officer responsible for monitoring this activity had succumbed to the effects of limited descriptions of OBJECT-6476 offered by 93 and was himself engaging in mutual masturbation activities. While under the memetic influence of OBJECT-6476 this officer – Mr. Robert Simpson – then recruited other inmates to join the group in the showers, similarly informing them of the existence of OBJECT-6476.
