We’re No Longer On newTumbl (and we don’t recommend using it)
You might have noticed we’ve vanished from newTumbl.
We had been present there since the collapse of Tumblr and we’d built quite the following. We even encouraged other adult communities to join and we heavily promoted its use, hoping that it would be different from all the others.
Unfortunately, newTumbl is now doing what many other social networks have done in the past once they’ve used adult content and proclamations of “creative freedom” to build a user base.
They’re on a mass purge.
Rumors are they’re currently deleting hundreds of blogs per day, the vast majority of them are considered non-straight.
Let me be clear – we have never breached their terms of use, we even reported other users who did. We were responsible users of their platform and yet they still decided to end our use of it without consideration and without recourse.
We had big hopes for newTumbl when it started. It quickly became the leader of the pack among platforms created to take advantage of the implosion of Tumblr, but it’s now clear that even if you follow their terms of use to the letter you will still be nuked at the whim of a bigoted employee.
If the rumors are true all male-focused adult content there is being annihilated right now, so in the coming months we expect newTumbl to go the way Tumblr did when they enacted the same puritan crackdown on adult content.
While we have recommended newTumbl for our readers in the past, we no longer believe it’s a stable platform. Unless you’re just using it as a blank account for DMs and making contact and you don’t plan to post or repost anything, it’s not worth wasting your time there.
We absolutely do not recommend posting anything you don’t want to lose, or try to build a following there.

Yeah, it sucks. I noticed yesterday they were spreading a really arrogant and threatening post about deleting accounts. It was really pretty shocking the way they were treating their own users, threatening everyone that they could be deleted any second and there was nothing anyone could do.
Imagine walking into a restaurant and the head chef is standing there laughing maniacally that you could die from food poisoning but there’s nothing you can do about it. Who in their right fucking mind would want to eat there? lol
They’re twats, and they’re about to go the same way Tumblr went.
This makes 3 blogs i follow there deleted since yesterday. none of them did anything dodgy at all. they’re definitely on a vendetta and purging lgbt+ and bator blogs. They’ve probably hired a bigot incel or something and he’s raging and taking down everything he doesn’t like. I have a few followers there so i’ll share this post and hopefully theyll just come here. Im not posting there anymore. No point if they’re just gonna fuck everyone over.

Like you say, why would anyone want to build a following there when they’re just going to delete you without explanation and with no opportunity to even ask why?
Seems like a recipe for failure for any social media site that relies on user-generated content. You can’t trust that your account will be there tomorrow, so no one should bother trying it.
I’m not sure what their angle is…but the vast majority of the stuff on my page and a few friends I made on there was straight content and we got taken down. I think they’re just on a mad tear against anything sexual/pornographic
I found you on NT. I don’t post much there just repost some of yours and other bator blog posts. I’m done though. No point using a site that’s just gonna delete you for no reason.

The same thing happened to me…without warning last night while I was in the middle of a conversation with someone on there. Incredibly pissed about this, as archaic as the sites layout was, I was really enjoying it, I’m also annoyed that I had so many things posted/saved on there that are now lost
We had a few dozen great posts I’d spent time on waiting to be published this month. Not even a warning, just gone.
It might be the WORST I have ever seen from any social media site. At least Twitter would give you a reason for the ban.
Social media is really a hellscape of demented behaviour related to messed up EULAs, the constant breaches of those same EULAs, and ever-changing content regulations. Some say run to Twitter, but come on! Daddy Elon has proposed many things, including banning pornography and erotic content. Why? Because he’s Daddy Elon and can’t pick a lane.
I think we were on Twitter once, a long time ago. Not sure I could trust it now with Elon in charge. It’s a total crap show there right now. Whenever I follow a link to look at something entirely normal underneath it there’s a screed of racism, misogyny, homophobia and all the usual far-right crap stains spewing culture war bullshit. Not sure I want to support a social media site like that.
So it wasn’t just me? My blog with 2K followers was deleted Wednesday. No reason given. I never posted anything against their terms either.
They are definitely on a vendetta.
I really hope it dies. It deserves to. They lured everyone in promising to be a great place for adult communities and now they’re just mass culling everyone who built their platform.
Fuck them. I hope they’re all unemployed in a month.
My small blog of a hundred followers was deleted when I checked this morning. Straight blog. No reason. Never broke any rules. It’s sad. Even though it was buggy it was a promising platform. They’re just destroying their own platform. I think someone probably took over and they’re going after anything they personally don’t like.
I got booted twice. I don’t give them a third try. Many have said the same thing, they’ve done nothing wrong. Fuck ’em!
That’s truly a shame. I can guess why it’s being done, but the problem is that the fear of losing advertisers makes them over-correct rather than using common sense and just do better curation of adult content.
So glad I’ve been following here on your website since before NT. keep doing what you’re doing, the bate community will be here eager to see what’s next!
I only had an account there to follow other bators. I logged in this morning and kept getting the “your search took too long” error. When it finally loaded my feed was shit. All the accounts I followed have gone. They’ve killed their own platform.

Thanks for posting about this, it’s something I have suspected myself lately.
I would like to urge against suggesting the use of NewTumbl for communication with ‘blank blogs/profiles’, there are a few issues with this:
Platforms are monitoring direct messaging more than ever, some may use manual techniques but AI vendors are pushing their tech everywhere they possible can. This makes it so much easier to process and understand what’s being discussed. This may lead to other consequences e.g. being banned anyway, having your intellectual property stolen, or giving them other avenues to continue tracking you.
The other major issue with communicating with blank profiles, is that you are opening yourself up to scams.
