Angel City Jacks in Los Angeles has sadly closed

Submitted by Patrick

I wanted to bring to your attention that the club ‘Angel City Jacks’ (Los Angeles) no longer exists. On their Yahoo Group page there was a contact referral to Rain City Jacks (Seattle) so I wrote to them to ask if they had any news or suggestions for alternatives. They did not.

I have not joined your site yet, but perhaps your membership has some alternatives to suggest between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, CA and they could share, as well as the list being updated.

And now, back to exploring your site…

Thank you.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for letting us know. We also heard from the manager of Rain City Jacks, Paul, who confirmed to us that ACJ ended operations in January of this year. We had no idea it was no more, and it’s sad to hear as I believe it was one of the most well-established clubs in the US.

I very much doubt it was due to lack of interest, we’ve sent hundreds of BuddyBate buttons and stickers to interested guys in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. I would assume that perhaps there is an alternative venue we don’t yet know about.

We’re always seeking information about new clubs and add the information to the list whenever we get word, so I hope you’ll come back and check in from time to time and perhaps you’ll find a great new group to join.

If anyone else has any information about the closure, or alternative clubs/groups/events anywhere, please let us know using the CONTACT FORM or leave a comment below 🙂
