A new weekly (or for as long as I remember to do it, and you guys enjoy it) news update for all things BuddyBate! I’ll be giving you a quick and handy (pun intended) update to cover things happening in the world of the bator lifestyle.
So, what’s new this week, other than the start of the BuddyBate CumBlast?
Obscured Pics…
All these blurred pics are fucking annoying, ain’t they? I’m working on it. So far there isn’t a way to show featured post images on the main page only to ConfirmedBator accounts who are signed in. The solution to this is to replace all the original pics with a SFW option, then add the original NSFW pic at the top of the actual post page (visible when you’ve clicked to read the post) and only to ConfirmedBator accounts. I have to prioritize this shit, though, so it’s gonna take some time to work through.
ConfirmedBators…
Speaking of ConfirmedBator accounts, hundreds of you have now completed the confirmation process in the last week, so you should be seeing posts as they were (apart from the blurred featured images). Thanks to all those guys who submitted. You’re the MVPs. And to all those who keep sending me pics of trees, dicks, your dogs, etc. I really don’t care if you waste your time like that, it literally just takes me a click to delete your submission and move on to the next.
I’ve created a new newsletter list for all those who are age-checked. You’ll get a newsletter with dicks and all on show. If you’re not age-checked, you’ll get the regular censored newsletter until you confirm your account and I can move you over.
I know, it sucks, you don’t have to tell me.
Age Check Laws…
Nothing has changed with the idiotic age check laws. It still won’t achieve what the pearl-clutching morons in government think it will achieve – far from it. Nothing has been defined, we still don’t know what “extreme” means, and we still don’t know if this law applies to art, an image of a dildo, or nude photography. What we do know is that it doesn’t (yet) apply to text content.
There is a backlash happening in the UK right now, but given how obviously stupid our elected are, we don’t actually expect them to be able to engage what limited intellect they have and work out that this stupid law can never work. So, it looks like this idiocy is here to stay, and it’s likely to get far worse until we can maybe elect a different government.
Even then, it might never change, because no politician is going to want to be the one to tell parents to do the job they should be doing.
Events…
It’s been a nutty month, so forgive me for not being able to stay on top of the events calendar. There’s a lot of data that needs to be added, and I will get around to it, hopefully in the next week or two. I want to streamline the method for submitting events to the calendar too, so if you’re having meets with your bate mates and want to invite new local members, hopefully it’ll be easier to reach them in the coming months and we can grow your local club.
BradSmithson…
And that brings me to BradSmithson and the stories over there. Eventually, the plan is to move all fiction over to BradSmithson.co.uk. That will include free and subscriber based. Why? Because these days I barely have time to have a wank. I have a full-time “normal” job, I run this website, I run BradSmithson and write all the fiction there.. it’s A LOT. Keeping up with the password protection for stories here is a pain in the nuts. It would be easier if I could just move all the newsletter subscribers over to BradSmithson automatically, but that’s not possible. BTW, there is already a free story over there, if you wanna check it out.
Comments…
Yes, we know about the issue with comments. This is a third-party problem that we hope will be addressed soon. For the time being, we’ve reverted to the built-in comments system. It’s not great, it looks shitty, but until they can acknowledge the problem and roll out a fix there’s not much I can do about it other than spend a day trying to root out the issue myself.
What’s coming up?
We have more submitted experiences and fantasies to publish from you guys, I’ll be processing those in the coming days and scheduling them for the site. Stick around for those, there are some great ones!
Of course, there are always more personal posts to add, and guys have let me know about new bate clubs in their area. They’ll be added to the regional categories and pages soon. You can click here to submit your own news about a bator club for your area.
