We don’t have a private message functionality, but if you’ve subscribed to a post and its comments then you will recieve an email alert when anyone replies or adds a comment to that post.
Make sure you check your spam/trash folders as some publicly available services (gmail, yahoo etc) have a bad habit of dictating what you can and cannot recieve to your inbox, even if you’ve confirmed subscriptions.
