I think it's thoughtful and open-minded of you to consider it. Frankly, I've known many str8 guys who are heavy into masturbation and enjoy mutual mutual quite a lot. As long as it doesn't cross the line into sex. If he hasn't tried masturbating with other guys yet, it would certainly do him good.
