Hey guys!
You might have noticed a few changes around these parts. With the passing of new laws denying access to adult visual media to anyone not confirmed to be 18+, we've made a few changes to the site that you need to know about.
Guests (random visitors just passing by) now only have "Read Access" to this forum. They cannot view any attached images, user profiles, or any data other than what is written in posts. Basically, they can only read words and don't get to see dicks.
Registered users (likely to be you, already signed up and confirmed by email) now have limited standard access. Full access to all features has now moved to...
ConfirmedBator members (new age check user level) have access to everything. You can DM other users, view profiles, view attachments, add attachments of your own, start new topics, view all restricted content in blog posts etc. This is the new standard, and it's how all new members from June 9th will see the forum (as long as they have completed the age-check process). We're also adding the ability to include photos with your personal posts on the blog. That will be added in the coming month.
While this might seem unreasonable, and it might feel like having to jump through more hoops just to exist online (I get it, believe me) this also comes with a few benefits. You now have greater security for your posted information. Only ConfirmedBators will be able to view any media you post, or be able to message you. The people you're chatting to here will be preliminarily cleared as 18+, as will you be.
You should always use common sense, however.
So, how do you become a ConfirmedBator?
It requires uploading a face pic or a photo of your ID (passport, driver's license, voter ID etc). You can do this by clicking here.
Your submitted ID will then be assigned to your registered email and your account will be upgraded to a ConfirmedBator, giving you all the lovely access you had previously. Of course, once this is done, your ID is removed from the server. It is ONLY used to confirm you are 18+.
This is a one-off requirement, nothing you submit to confirm your ID will be left on the server and it will not be used for anything else. No personal identifiable data submitted here is shared with any third-party. We only need it to attach to your registered email address and clear you for full access as an 18+ ConfirmedBator.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a manual process. Please allow some time for me to manually review all submissions and upgrade your account. We are seeing a high volume of confirmations already so there could be a delay.
ALSO NOTE: Being subscribed to the Newsletter is not the same as having an account. A lot of readers have submitted age-check images while only being subscribed to the newsletter, this will not grant you access to media as the media block relies on account status, not newsletter status. Newsletters will mostly be censored going forward, but ConfirmedBators are being subscribed to a new list to allow for the delivery of uncensored content.
If you still cannot see adult media in a blog post, it means you do not yet have a ConfirmedBator account, you need to click the JOIN button in the menu to create your account. If you have already submitted age-check images you should quickly be cleared.
Everything is connected to the email you use. Please ensure you are using the same email address consistently.

@cheshireuk Hi, I have checked all the submissions and I cannot find one with an email that matches the email address you have used to create this account.
You wouldn't happen to be the member I have been conversing with about this by email, would you? T@TB?
If so, email again with your username here and I can change the registered email address for you, and confirm your account.

@rick Hi, I've checked your account and email and it is a ConfirmedBator account, you should have access to all features of the forum and be able to see adult media in blog posts etc. You're also subscribed to the newsletter.
Please let me know if there are any features you don't have access to and I'll investigate.
It's been a bit complex walling things off for ConfirmedBator accounts and there might need to be a little "tweaking".

I've checked your account and you are confirmed.
If you're not able to see adult images on the forum, send direct messages, or see adult media on the blog, then I would recommend logging out, clearing your browser cache, and then logging back in again.
That should refresh the site for you.

Hi Brad. Is there a way we can confirm that we are confirmed without having to bug you, such as an indicator in our profile? By the way, am I confirmed? I haven't received any notification that I've been confirmed.Â

Unfortunately, there isn't currently an automated way to alert for this, and with the rate of accounts being cleared we can't issue manual emails to all when their account is cleared. The method we're having to use is entirely manual, as there is no out-of-the-box solution. We've had to cobble together the tools.
I have just added the label to all accounts which displays the user group under your avatar. This should appear across the forum and on your individual profile page.

Greetings! I got the newsletter today saying it was censored because I haven't completed the check, yet I did weeks ago when the invitation was sent out to do so. I'm posting here to a) ask for a check and b) see what my status is under my name, as I'd prefer the uncensored emails. Thanks

This is odd.
I have checked your account and you are definitely signed up to the ConfirmedBator newsletter group.
I have removed you from the "main" newsletter group into just the ConfirmedBator group, so you *should* now only receive the uncensored version of the newsletter.

I'm sorry for the delay, but unlike other platforms using unreliable and unsecure methods for account confirmation, our process is manual, which means it takes a little more time.
Your account has been changed to "ConfirmedBator".

Hi, I verified a while ago but still don't have full access, when will my account be unrestricted again please. All forum posts are blurred still, even though I following the verification processes ok.

@biggunuk Hi, I have checked all confirmed submissions and unfortunately your associated email address cannot be found there.
This likely means that your submission was rejected.
Please note that submissions have to either be a selfie with "BuddyBate" written on a piece of paper (to filter stolen selfies or AI) or a copy of a government ID.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but with the prevalence of AI and people using other people's selfies we have to be more strict with these measures.
