I (Reluctantly) Need Your Help
I’m not entirely comfortable asking for assistance from anyone, ever, but we have a great community here and I guess it makes sense to come to you guys.
My Mac is on its last legs. It’s loyally served me for close to eight years but I’ve finally reached the point where I need to update, preferably before it bursts into flame. It’s a very old system, programs are failing and can’t be updated, the screen is discolored, the start-up process sometimes stalls, the optical drive keeps making odd pronouncements which might be innocent but sound threatening.
Macs aren’t cheap, even though I would probably need to get a refurbished one.
As you might know, I’ve been working hard (pun intended) on the Book of Bate publications lately. I’ve been adding new covers that I’ve really enjoyed creating. Book of Bate Vol. 5 is on the way soon!
Without a good Mac it’s going to be very difficult.
The books have been doing well, but while it’s contributing to paying the bills it’s not currently enough to allow for a big expenditure.
So, I wanted to ask you all if you could maybe help out? I’m not asking for donations, I’m asking for you to either buy one (or several!) of the books or some BuddyBate merch. If even half of you did one of those things in the next few days I would be able to replace my Mac before it’s deceased.
If you’ve already done either of those things, thank you!

The books are something I’m very proud of. It takes a lot of writing, a lot of editing, cover design and so on. I love them, and I know a lot of you guys have been loving them, too.
Even if you don’t want to buy any of the books or any BuddyBate lapel pins, buttons, stickers etc, perhaps you could share a link to one of the books among your communities? If you’re on a forum or you’re part of a social media bator group, please consider letting them know about the books.
If you’re not able to do any of these things, that’s okay. I’m just glad you’re a part of this community. Maybe I’ll eventually write a story that does convince you to join in and start reading them? 🙂

Thanks for your support, unfortunately Buy me a Coffee is like almost every other method of online business and their rules are Victorian, they refuse any association to any adult content regardless of its legality.
It was one of the first options I considered, but under their terms it is forbidden to use their services for ANY adult content.
According to their rules I couldn’t even use it on a site that has no pornographic content like BradSmithson.co.uk, because it promotes adult fiction.
This is why I asked for readers to buy a book, as they get something out of it too, and it’s a mainstream platform that works. 🙂
