Hi all, welcome to the new BuddyBate forum!
It's been a while since we operated one, but we thought it was about time to resurrect this idea and finally bring it to fruition.
This is where you guys can all discuss your bator habits, share your ideas, debate your lifestyle, explore tips and advice, and even find other bators to become buddies with in your area. The Personals section will remain, at least for now, but this seems like a better way for you guys to seek out friendships and build local communities.
As always, sensible rules apply, and we will be watching.
Specifically, STRICTLY NO MENTION OF ANY PERSONS UNDER 18.
No phone numbers, email address or physical addresses (unless it's a business premises such as a bar or event space).
No mention of depictions of force, violence, substance use.
No bigotry, hate, racism etc.
Basically, be reasonable, be sane, be decent to each other. Anyone who isn't will be banned without debate or discussion.
Have fun, and bear with us while we get used to this new forum with you 🙂

Are there plans to institute a direct message feature, or is there one I'm not seeing?
While a lot of guys use messaging apps (Kik, etc.), many do not (including me) for various reasons. Since you won't allow email addresses to be posted it makes it difficult to get in touch, which is one of the biggest weaknesses of the Personals section of the site--difficult or impossible follow up.
I hope the new forum will be lively and lead to good connections for many.

There isn't one at this time, and we are reluctant to add such a feature as it can very easily be abused by a minority. The fact is, there are people who will ignore our rules and legal requirements, so we would have to monitor all direct messages anyway, which doesn't seem right to us.
All members can still publish social media accounts where others can contact them directly, we think this is a fair compromise.

We legally cannot allow the publication of email addresses. This is part of GDPR laws relating to privacy. Publishing email addresses on the open internet will absolutely result in masses of spam within days, rendering that address useless very quickly.
Even if we could legally allow the public publication of email addresses we cannot confirm ownership of that address. For all we know someone could be posting someone else's address in order to harass them.
As for Personal Posts, you can subscribe to any post in the comments by email. When a new reply arrives you will recieve an email notification of that reply.
I hope the new forum will be lively and lead to good connections for many.

The site is not very intuitive. There is no place like typical sites to log in, find a forum, etc. You have to search to find them.

You can submit a message via the contact page at any time and we will delete your personal post. You can also submit a new post at any time if you wish to refresh your search for a local bud.

Unfortunately, given the platform we use, we have to rely on plugins for additional functionality and that can lead to a patchwork feel.
Your forum account does incorporate blog post commenting for a more cohesive system, but we are working on improving navigation.

This site is awesome, whatever it may lack in features just existing is a reief.. it's like finding a beacon in the endless faceless ad-ridden pornocalypse beckoning towards thus phallocenteic oasis with.. well, real dudes. It's all you can eat eye candy cam models everywhere, not sure what's AI, here in Florida they've completely assfuc*ed 1st amendment rights by banning porn - not that it's stopped anyone, but the voncept.. and it's good to touch base with other bators honestly..
