Victorian attitudes, more BuddyBate pins, the Book Of Bate and Reader Experiences

Hi, I really like your concept of finding mutually interested wankers. However what I’m having difficulties with is your very Victorian way of producing videos of guys getting closer. These are mere cock teasers. Why is it not possible in our progressive, modern days to show the real thing? What I’m also missing is a BuddyBate map showing cities or places where to find members. Thanks for your message.

I’m a little confused when you suggest our methods are Victorian, as we don’t produce any videos ourselves (I wish!) The adult media we share is from partners at sites like EnglishLads, Maskurbate, StraightOffBase or TheGuySite. We don’t control the images they provide to us for promotional use and there is a lot of evidence to suggest that being “teasing” in such promotional content helps sales. As operating the site requires a modest income many of our readers choose to support us by buying memberships to these promoted sites (and we love you guys for it), and buying BuddyBate buttons/stickers, or toys and lube etc from BlokeToys.

I can assure you that while the images for EnglishLads are tame and clothed on the blog, the videos (with duos or groups) are complete mutual masturbation experiences with frotting etc, as described in the text we write to promote them.

There’s very little entertainment out there being produced specifically for our niche interests, but the sites we do promote are great in their production and the fun the guys share, especially EnglishLads.

With regard to the BuddyBate map question, we do currently have the button map, which shows markers for those who have buttons/stickers/pins in various towns and cities around the world. While this only displays the readers who have purchased merch to seek out other bators in their local area, and the number of guys we believe would be generally interested, it’s a good indication of how many guys there are showing buttons/stickers and how many you might expect to be in the area.

For privacy reasons, we have to be very careful with regard to providing the ways and means for readers to contact each other. Our personals section is a good way for readers to interact while being respectful of privacy and adhering to GDPR laws (which require tight control over personal information). For instance, we cannot allow the publication of email addresses, IP addresses, physical addresses or phone numbers, but those who submit a post for that section can add a link to a social media account where other readers could message them directly.

The Lapel Pins are a considerable investment for us so we waited for a little while before deciding to order another batch to be made. We lost our Tumblr account just after we got the first batch of pins and subsequently the sale of them sharply declined. However, we have now ordered another batch, and these ones will be a little larger (25mm) and at a lower price than the previous pins. We’re hoping to focus a little more on encouraging readers to spread the word about them. We expect to get the new batch of pins in the next two or three weeks. Hi Jeff.

It is most definitely still a thing! We’re working on it right now and it’s going great. We have a pretty good collection of long-form stories compiled and after editing and working out what to add for the first edition and what we might keep for the second, we’ll be looking at the best way to deliver it to readers. Of course, the second edition will all depend on how successful the first one is.

It’s taken a while to get it all together, other commitments get in the way, and we wanted to do it right rather than just quickly typing a few short stories. As we don’t know how well it’s going to do it’s another gamble for us, we have other jobs and we need an income, so we couldn’t dedicate our full time to it, I’m sure you understand.

We recommend readers sign up to the NEWSLETTER to be made aware of when it’s available. We hope it’ll be soon but we’re not putting a deadline on it as things can (and often do) pop up!

Hi Brad. One of my favorite things about the site is reading the experiences of other guys. I love hearing how guys started bating with their friends and meeting guys to stroke it with. I have my own experiences to share and I will send them soon but I’ve seen a lot of guys commenting on other posts and saying they had experiences like that too but then they don’t share them. Is there a way to encourage those guys to send their stories? There must be thousands of great experiences readers here have but I wish they would send them. Thanks – CummerTed

Well, you haven’t sent yours in yet, so your answer is right there 🙂

Just kidding.

Most guys are readers and not writers, that’s just a fact of life for a blog like ours. We would love it if every reader here sent their experiences to us for everyone to read but most aren’t confident in their writing or see it as a daunting task to write more than a paragraph. I do personally encourage them to send in their experiences when I see a comment from someone suggesting they had a similar experience, and often times they will send something.

I think a lot of guys think their experience is too similar to the one they just read, too. We actually don’t mind that, we would still love to publish it. Every experience has nuanced differences or might offer a slightly different perspective, so even if the process was the same it would still be great to read it.

I hope you’ll send your experiences, and I’ll keep encouraging other readers to send theirs, too.
