I would like to know if there is a wank club in Paris (France). Thank you so much. Michel

Hi Michael. We don’t know of any official clubs in Paris, but I can guarantee there are groups meeting at least in private gatherings, and likely a few in bars/clubs/saunas/cinemas etc.

We do routinely search the internet for information about clubs just in case there’s a new event or gathering we can share for men in the area to attend but most are quite discreet and rarely advertise or promote publicly.

To be honest, a lot of them are so popular they can’t take any more members due to the venue they use so they prefer to keep quiet about it.

Most guys tend to find these groups through other bators in their area, so meeting up with new guys and asking them about any clubs they’re a part of might be the best way for you to get into that community. Of course, you could always look into starting your own club. We have information about that here.

I saw that there was an event at the Granta pub a while ago but I wasn’t there. Did it go well? Will there be a follow up? I’m interested in getting some like-minded guys together for a bate night. Is there a club in Cambridge? I see there are a few of us with lapel pins but I never see them on the street. Jack

Unfortunately we never heard back regarding the event. I’m certain there are private gatherings taking place in Cambridge but as mentioned above it can be hard to find groups publicly and they’re usually discovered through meeting up with other local guys. We’re always happy to add events to the calendar if anyone wants to arrange a meet up.

I like watching videos and reading stories about guys jacking off together but I’ve never done anything like that with any of my buddies. I sometimes wonder if I might be bisexual or whether it’s just a curiosity thing. Gary via comment

Hi Gary. You’re not alone. You don’t need to declare your sexuality to anyone or join any tribe. It’s fine if you want to “come out”, a lot of men in the community describe themselves as gay, bi-curious, bisexual, pan-sexual, hetero-flexible or straight etc, but in my experience the enjoyment of masturbation with other men is its own thing and it kind of makes the labels meaningless. It doesn’t change who you are or mean that you must comply with a certain image of what a bisexual or pan-sexual person should be, you’re just a man who enjoys this certain form of pleasure with other men, and there really doesn’t need to be any agonizing over what that might “make you”. It doesn’t make you anything other than what you are and have been; a sexual male who enjoys masturbation and is open to enjoying it with other men.

Has all the fiction moved to Patreon? I thought you were carrying on posting stories here and posting others at Patreon for members? WankyPanky

Hi WankyPanky. When we started the Patreon (The BuddyBate Patreon has now closed, please click here for the BuddyBate Book Club) a few months ago the plan was to post fiction both there and here. We admit that time constraints have meant most of the fiction has been posted at Patreon rather than here, but as the Bateman’s Gully story comes to an end at Patreon we’ll be developing a new schedule for 2020. The plan is that we will be posting all fiction at Patreon going forward, but that some of those stories will then be published here a week later. So, Patreon members get all of the fiction, including early access to posts that will later be available here. I know a lot of readers don’t like the idea of paying for fiction, but it takes time to create and (frankly) we deserve to make at least some income from the work we do. It’s $2 a month to be a Patreon member, we don’t think that’s too much to ask for original fiction written especially for our community every week.

Is there a hashtag for guys to use out there on social media sites? Terry

Hi Terry. We’ve actually never really thought about promoting any specific hashtag, but I suppose #BuddyBate would be the one to use. I guess it might be a good way for guys to find each other out there and share posts and inspiration. We’ll have a good think about that and maybe make it a part of our 2020 plans.

I like trying new toys and we used to have special discounts on things like lube and strokers at BlokeToys but that seems to have stopped. Any chance of discounts or specials next year? Billy

Hi Billy. The guys at BlokeToys are still our friends and we work with them to deliver the buttons and stickers etc, but we know they had been taking a step back from promotions and marketing generally in 2019. I did email them after seeing your question and they are going to be offering some special deals for our readers in 2020. Stick around on the blog and hopefully we’ll be seeing some special deals coming your way very soon 🙂

@Brad
I live in Paris and there are a few private groups but nothing like London Jacks or Amsterdam Jacks. I’m trying to start one 🙂

If the hashtag is going to be a “code” or sorts, like the pins and stickers, then maybe #buddybate is a little too on the nose for guys who are afraid of being found out to those who live in a more archaic mindset. Maybe come up with five and let users vote? Is there any way to block it from being connected to the site explicitly?

Hi, I don’t think it was going to be a code, really, just a way for guys to find other users on sites like newTumbl, Twitter or Reddit etc using the tag. I think most guys out there online have discreet accounts for their adult content so there shouldn’t be much of a risk of anyone revealing too much about themselves.
