Happy New Year! Let’s Look Forward To A Better 2022!
It’s finally here, the end of 2021. I think I speak for most when I say that it can very much fuck all the way off.
It’s been a strange couple of years, and as I write that I realize it’s a drastic understatement.
I actually wasn’t sure if it’s just because I’m getting older, but I have occasionally found myself a little confused about what year it is. Sometimes it feels like we’ve been stuck in 2020 for an extended period of time.
I’m actually looking forward to what 2022 brings.
There’s a lot I’m sure you’re all individually hoping for for the coming 12 months but I thought this would be a good time to lay out some of the plans I have for the BuddyBate community going forward.
The Return Of The Bate parties are still being organized. Although it has been very difficult to reach out and connect with venues across the US and UK, we still have our Canadian hosts on board. We didn’t expect all of this Corona nonsense to take so long, but clearly our hopes to hold this event in 2021 were a little dashed so now we’re determined that things are going to get back to enough normality in 2022 to be able to get this series of gatherings off the ground. We released the very first BuddyBate T-Shirt in 2021 and it was very successful. We’ve shipped plenty of them (I believe we have one or two left, if you want to get your hands on one). We’re looking into the viability of producing more, with different designs, at a lower price. Would you like regional T-Shirts with your city/state/country on them? We’re considering a sporting theme, like team shirts.
The very first Book Of Bate is very nearly ready to be released! This is the first of many planned publications, with exclusive BuddyBate stories enjoyed by the community via our previous Patreon, along with new stories added to each anthology. Every release will include TEN incredible works of fiction in the theme of male masturbation and bator friendship, and even if you’ve read one of two of them before while the Patreon page was operating they’ve been elaborated on and changed enough that you should find them newly exciting and worth collecting.
We currently have enough content for TEN anthologies, to be released over time. Stay tuned for the release of the first anthology in the nest two weeks.
We’re planning a little bit of a pivot here at BuddyBate in the year to come, with more informative and educational posts. We’re also hoping to add more advice posts to the blog, so if you have anything you’d like to ask about please visit the contact page and submit your questions.
