Ryker tugged on the handle beside him, the driver’s door clunking open and letting the fresh night air wash through “if you’re not down you can leave, but don’t be a pussy, at least check it out” he stepped out and before I really knew what I was doing I was following his lead, my heart racing in my chest as I watched him stroll around the front of his car to join me. “Seriously, dude, stop being such a fuckin’ wuss about it” he slapped my chest with the back of his hand, his car keys jingling.
I could have just said “see ya” and walked the few hundred feet home. I didn’t though, obviously.
